What it does
Customer due diligence, item by item.
The right forms for the client
Which forms apply is decided by the module's rules, not by a person remembering them: an exemption, no beneficial owner, a politically exposed person or enhanced due diligence each changes the pack, and each change is recorded with its reason.
Proposed from documents, accepted by a person
Registry extracts and identity documents are read to propose values. Every value carries its source and whether it has been checked, and a Risk Management user accepts it. Risk ratings and acceptance are never extracted.
Answers only the client can give
Questions only the client can answer, such as source of wealth or PEP declarations, are left for the client to complete. They are never filled in on the client's behalf.
The firm's own work, listed
A case is not complete on the client's answers alone. Identity verification, screening with exceptions disposed of, each representative's authority and the risk rating and approval are listed separately as the firm's work.
Restricted by role
Case contents are visible only to users with the Risk Management role. The role is set at onboarding, never self-assigned, and any later change needs a second person.
Status for the audit team
The audit team sees only whether CDD is complete or pending, so acceptance can rely on it without anyone outside Risk Management seeing the file.
How it runs
From new client to approved case.
Open the case
Risk Management opens a case for the client entity. It can be linked to an audit engagement, or stand on its own.
The client completes its part
The client fills in its answers and uploads documents on a secure page, while the module proposes values from registry extracts and identity documents.
Risk Management decides
A Risk Management user checks the values, records the screening and the risk rating, and approves or refers. Matters for the MLRO go to the MLRO only.
The audit team sees a status. Risk Management sees the file.
